බහුසංස්කෘතික ඕස්ට්රේලියානු සමාජය පෝෂණය කරන ආත්ම විශ්වාසයෙන් හා සංස්කෘතික අනන්යතාවයෙන් යුත් පරපුරක් වෙනුවෙන්, සිංහල භාෂාව හා ශ්රී ලාංකික බෞද්ධ උරුමය තරුණ හදවත් තුළ රෝපණය කරන, ප්රවේශ සහිත හා හිතකර ඉගැනුම් පරිසරයක් නිර්මාණය කිරීම.
Our Mission
Paramitha Sinhala Language School is committed to:

We believe language is more than "just a language": it is the living thread that carries culture from one generation to the next. Language and communication build close bonds between generations, deepen mutual understanding, and strengthen social connection. We are therefore committed to instilling in our students not just fluency, but a lasting knowledge of, and pride in, the Sinhala language, Sri Lankan heritage, and Buddhist values, equipping them to stand confidently as proud contributors to Australia's multicultural society.
පාරමිතා සිංහල භාෂා පාසල පහත සඳහන් කරුණු වෙනුවෙන් කැපවී සිටී:
- VCE විභාගයේදී දෙවන භාෂාවක් ලෙස පිළිගෙන ඇති සිංහල භාෂාව ඵලදායි ලෙස ඉගෙන ගැනීමට පහසුකම් සලසන නවීන, උසස් තත්ත්වයේ විෂය මාලාවක් සැපයීම.
- සිසුන්ගේ භාෂා නිපුණතාවය හා ආත්ම විශ්වාසය වර්ධනය කිරීම, VCE සාර්ථකත්වය සඳහා පැහැදිලි මාර්ගයක් ලබා දෙමින්.
- අපගේ ගුරුවරුන්, වැඩසටහන් හා ඉගෙනුම් ප්රතිඵල තුළින් ඉහළම ප්රමිතීන් සුරැකීම.
- න්යායාත්මකව සවිමත් හා රසවත් ඉගැන්වීමේ ද්රව්ය හා ඇගයුම් උපකරණ නිර්මාණය කිරීම.
- භාෂා ඉගෙනුමට සමගාමීව ථෙරවාද බෞද්ධ වටිනාකම් හා ශ්රී ලාංකික උරුමය පිළිබඳ අගය කිරීමක් වර්ධනය කිරීම.
භාෂාව යනු හුදු "භාෂාවක්" පමණක් නොව, එක් පරම්පරාවක සිට තවත් පරම්පරාවකට සංස්කෘතිය රැගෙන යන ජීවමාන පාලමකි. භාෂාව සහ සන්නිවේදනය පරම්පරාවන් අතර සමීප සබඳතා ගොඩනඟයි, අන්යෝන්ය අවබෝධය වර්ධනය කරයි, සමාජ සම්බන්ධතා ශක්තිමත් කරයි. එබැවින්, අපගේ සිසුන් තුළ භාෂා ප්රවීණත්වයට වඩා, සිංහල භාෂාව, ශ්රී ලාංකික උරුමය හා බෞද්ධ වටිනාකම් පිළිබඳ කල් පවතින දැනුමක් හා ආඩම්බරයක් රෝපණය කිරීමට අප කැපවී සිටිමු, බහුසංස්කෘතික ඕස්ට්රේලියානු සමාජයට අභිමානවත්ව දායක වන පරපුරක් බිහි කරමින්.
Our History
Paramitha Sinhala Language School (formely St Albans Sinhala Language School) was established on 1 February 1998 with only nineteen students and four teachers who had recently migrated to Australia from Sri Lanka. It was founded to address the challenge of raising children who remain aware of their heritage, cultural values and language, despite living in a multicultural society.
We have come a long way since then. Today we:
- Conduct classes from Prep to Grade Nine
- Teach Sinhala language across all four skills, reading, writing, listening and speaking
- Promote cultural and historical awareness of our motherland
- Inculcate moral values using Buddhist philosophy

Methods & Techniques
One-on-one intensive reading from Prep onward, special classes for students with learning difficulties or mature students, and modern technology to keep classes engaging and interactive.
Monthly Assembly & Annual Concert
Opportunities for students to enhance cultural awareness and enrich their performing skills, singing, dancing, acting and public speaking.
Dedicated Staff & Materials
Skilled, dedicated teachers who continually upskill, and innovative, quality resources that promote group learning.
