Since 1998, Paramitha Sinhala Language School has taught generations of children in Melbourne's West. Our curriculum covers reading writing, speaking and listening of the Sinhala language, as well as the Buddhist values that underscore our beautiful heritage.

What we offer your child
Every Sunday, our students engage in a curriculum that goes far beyond textbooks combining structured language learning with performing arts, cultural ceremonies and community life.
Sinhala Language Mastery
One-on-one reading from Prep onward, plus special classes for students who need extra support covering reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Cultural & Buddhist Values
Moral education grounded in Buddhist philosophy, alongside annual ceremonies like Vesak Bakthi Geetha, Poson Sil and Katina Perahara.
Performing Arts
Singing, dancing, acting and public speaking through monthly assemblies and our Annual Variety Concert building confidence on and off the stage.

School runs every Sunday during school terms, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
